Bow Hill Blueberries’ Seahawks-inspired smoothie and cocktail
Feb 1st, 2014 | Category: CookingFor those looking for a healthy smoothie and delicious cocktail to celebrate the Seahawks in the Superbowl, try these two recipes courtesy of Susan Soltes, co-owner of Bow Hill Blueberries in Bow.
Soltes added that when she made her first delivery she ran into player Richard Sherman by the service elevator leading to the kitchen, “and I want you to know – I can vouch for him – he’s very nice to blueberry farmers.”
In honor of the Seahawks, the Bow Hill Blueberries family are making Skagit Valley Blue and Green Smoothies this Sunday. The ingredients she used were from farmers in Skagit and Whatcom counties, and listed below.
She also provided a blueberry champagne cocktail recipe (scroll down for recipe and photo).
