Common Threads NW hosts local ag reps to discuss future of farming

BELLINGHAM – Representatives from the local agriculture community will share their concerns and needs during a special event hosted by Common Threads NW on Wednesday, March 6. “Whatcom Agriculture – Is There A Future?” will be held at the Meridian High School auditorium, 194 W. Laurel Road, Bellingham. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the program begins at 7 p.m. Speakers include: Jeff Rainey (dairy), Ben Elenbaas (cattle), Brad Rader (berry), Matt Aamot  (small farms), and Amanda Stidham (FFA/4H).
