LOPEZ – The annual Lopez Lamb, Wool & Goat Festival will be Saturday, May 11. This free, family-friendly event is a chance for the public to learn about sheep and goats, and experience activities and products. Learn about spinning, weaving, dyeing and felting, and visit with vendors of local crafts, food, and farm products. Watch sheep shearing and peruse a fleece sale. A Mediterranean Lamb Extravaganza Plate Lunch will be available to benefit the Lopez Farm-to-School Program.
