Thanks for the memories! May 2010-March 2020

Get the local dirt in our northwest corner • Regrowing in 2023!

A note to readers: No May issue

Apr 28th, 2020 | Category: Features

Dear readers,

We want to give you an update about Grow Northwest. grow miss you

As we noted last month, the heart of Grow Northwest is sharing what’s happening and growing in our northwest corner – what you can support locally and learn/do more of at home, and promoting the work of local farms, businesses, organizations, etc. in the community. We love what we do, enjoy sharing with you, and hope to continue. We miss you!

At this time, we are unable to publish a May issue, which would have marked our 10th anniversary. This is not the way we wanted to celebrate a decade and move forward into the next chapter, but it is what it is and we shall make the best of this. This is a difficult time for all. We would like to resume in June or July, however we’ll see what comes and keep you posted. Please check in through or Facebook page and here on the website for updates.

We want to thank all who have supported Grow in some way over the last almost decade – from contributing your beautiful photos and words, to reading our pages or advertising in them, to helping with circulation and sharing what we do, to giving criticism and feedback. You’re all appreciated.

As our community continues to deal with the impacts of COVID-19, continue to grow and enjoy the little things in life, and share them with others as you can. These little things are cherished, simple joys. We all need them, they make us stronger, and we grow better together, especially during challenging times.

Be well, give where you can, and take good care of each other.

Happy growing,
Grow Northwest

P.S. We’re still making a cake to celebrate a decade, we just wish we could share it with you.
