Sheep School offers day of classes

STANWOOD – The Puget Sound Purebred Sheep Breeders Association presents a Sheep School on Saturday, May 19 at the Stanwood High School. Classes are available for those wanting to learn more or for those just getting started. Speakers will be producers who are active in the sheep field as well as professionals in related agricultural industries. Registration before May 4 is $25, and $30 after. Late entries accepted at the door, space permitting. Classes include caring for your sheep throughout the year; marketing wool to niche markets; marketing your product; meat production and veterinary care.
