Skagit Wine Festival features local wines, food on Nov. 17

MOUNT VERNON – Wines from regions throughout Washington, including local wineries, as well as appetizers, chocolate and cheese samplings made right in Skagit County, will be available at the Skagit Wine Festival on Saturday, Nov 17. Participating wineries include Challenger Ridge, Coyote Canyon Winery, Eagle Haven Winery, Finnriver Farm & Cider, Glacier Peak Winery, Samson Estates Winery, Tulip Valley Winery and Willow Tree Vineyard. Participating restaurants and food producers include Diana’s Ultimate Truffles, Golden Glen Creamery, Forte Chocolate, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and others. The festival starts at 3 p.m. at Best Western CottonTree Inn in Mount Vernon. Tickets are $35 per person, $60 per couple, and $40 per person at the door.
