BELLINGHAM – The Whatcom Food Network will hold a forum on Monday, Dec. 10 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. in the County Civic Building Garden Room, 322 N. Commercial St. Bellingham. The Whatcom Food Network, which officially launched last June, will hold two forums each year with the goal of connecting and increasing awareness of those working towards a local food system and resources. The day’s panels include Sue Blake of WSU Extension and Clare Fogelsong of City of Bellingham discussing water, and a processing/distribution panel presented by Cara Piscitello of Acme Farms + Kitchen, Jeff Voltz of Northwest Agriculture Business Center, and Jim Ashby of Community Food Co-op.
