WHATCOM – The Whatcom County Council will likely hold a public hearing Tuesday, June 18 to take public comments regarding a zoning amendment to allow packinghouses in the Agricultural Zoning District. According to Whatcom County Planning Department, the packinghouse ordinance is scheduled for discussion at the Special Committee of the Whole on Tuesday, June 4 at 9:30 a.m. and will likely be introduced at the Council’s evening meeting.
