Public invited to Winter Field Day

MOUNT VERNON – The Western Washington Fruit Research Foundation in cooperation with the WSU Northwest Washington Research and Extension Center presents Winter Field Day and Open House on  Saturday, March 1. Admission is free for WWFRF Members and open to others at $15 each or $30 per family. Participants can learn about grafting, mason bees, fruit varieties from around the world, organic apple production, and best apple varieties for Western Washington. There will be live demonstrations of pruning trees and blueberries in the Fruit Garden, grafting demonstrations inside, and more. Scionwood and rootstocks will be available for purchase.
