LYNNWOOD — The third annual Celebration of Food Festival will be held at the Lynnwood Convention Center May 18, featuring more than 50 booths with information and activities. Organized by Food Revolution Snohomish County, the festival is a free, family event where participants can learn how to grow, purchase and prepare wholesome, local food from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. “This event brings our community together so people can experience delicious, local, wholesome food,” said organizer Chris Hudyma. “Farmers, food advocates, students, health professionals, community members, and business owners will offer activities to inspire us to enjoy real food.” Highlights this year include a new growing demonstration area hosted by Farmer Frog and Edmonds CC Sustainable Agriculture Education (SAgE) Program, a Presentation and Q&A period by Ciscoe Morris and Cynthia Lair. Cooking demonstrations for adults, food vendors,  Hands-On Kids’ Food & and Kitchen Skills Station, Children’s Reading Tent and book give away.
