LA CONNER – The Skagit County Historical Society is seeking input from local residents for their upcoming exhibit “Back To Our Roots: A History of Farm to Table in Skagit County” on display June 11 to Oct. 11. The exhibit will celebrate the culture of hunting, gathering, growing and preparing our own food from the headwaters of the Skagit River to the bays of the Salish Sea. The exhibit will feature artifacts, photographs and documents from the Museum’s collection exploring six areas: The Geology of the Skagit Valley, Growing, Gathering, Processing, Enjoying, and The Future.  Special events will be scheduled to coincide with the exhibit, including a possible  farm or barn tour during the run of the exhibit.
