Livestock Round Pen starts Jan. 27

Jan 4th, 2016 | Category: News

MONROE – The Snohomish WSU Extension is offering Livestock Round Pen, a new quarterly event for livestock and poultry producers to network with each other and local experts. The first meeting will be Jan. 27 from 7-9 p.m. at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds Longhouse in Monroe. Designed to be an informal discussion, Q&A, and networking event, there will be tables devoted to each species: cattle, goats, sheep, swine, and poultry. Lead by Dr. Susan Kerr, WSU NW Regional Livestock and Dairy Extension Specialist, there will be opportunities to engage with experts, veterinarians, and other producers; ask and answer questions, learn about the latest news affecting livestock producers, and discover new resources to help improve and expand healthy livestock production throughout Western Washington. Registration is free at For more information, contact Kate Halstead at or (425) 357-6024.
