Master Gardener advanced training offers classes, connections on Oct. 21

BELLINGHAM – The WSU Whatcom County Extension Master Gardener group is hosting an advanced training on Friday, Oct. 21. The event is open to anyone interested in growing, and offers three sessions, lunch, and a keynote presentation. Session topics include Natives, Mason Bees, Forestry, Food crops, Composting and more. The keynote presentation, “All Stars for the Winter and Fall Garden,” will be made by John Christianson of Christianson’s Nursery. The event runs 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St Luke’s Health Education Center in Bellingham. Registration is available for $40, and  student scholarships are available.
