BELLINGHAM – The Community Food Co-op Farm Fund  is now accepting grant applications with a deadline of Jan. 20, 2017. Grants are directed to projects that meet the greater good of the community and benefit local agriculture at large. The 2017 application form and information will be posted on the Co-op website at www.communityfood.coop.  Since 2000, the Farm Fund, with donations from the Co-op operations budget and Co-op member-owners, has circulated over $204,215 for Farm Fund grants and revolving loans benefiting more than 60 farms and food/farming organizations. The Farm Fund is run by a Co-op staff member and a volunteer committee of member-owners.
