June is for lavender, and our staff favorite, as well as the most requested lavender from our garden clients, is called Phenomenal Lavender. It has the best traits of French and English lavender, with it’s extra long blue purple flower spikes, and is long blooming from June through Fall. This is one of the hardiest of all lavenders zone 4 to 8, and has the highest essential oil content of any lavender. This lavender is a 24- to 34-inch tall pollinator magnet.
