FERNDALE – Farm funding opportunities will be the subject of the next Farmer Speaker Series on Tuesday, Oct. 15, organized by the Whatcom Conservation District. In an effort to make farmers aware of resources available for financial support, this networking event will provide direct connections with funding agencies and offer a panel of successful grant recipients from the local farm community who will share their experiences. Participants can have questions answered in face-to-face interactions with representatives from local, state and federal programs, agricultural initiatives, and commercial or private foundations.
